Location:
The apartment is directly next to the Vondelpark and located in the Zocherstraat. This is a lovely quiet street in the popular and lively old west (Oud-West) area of Amsterdam. In the immediate vicinity there is a large selection of shops for daily shopping, in well-known shopping streets such as the Overtoom, Jan Pieter Heijestraat and Amstelveenseweg. In addition, there are a lot of nice restaurants and cafes in the area such as Kosta, Adam, Fijnkost and Parallel. The Jordaan, the Museumplein, the Leidseplein and the Pijp are 5 to 10 minutes by bike. Reaching Amsterdam’s main business district the Zuid-as takes approximately 10 minutes by bike (through the park). In max 30 minutes by public transport (15-20 minutes by car) you are at Schiphol and it takes 5 minutes to be on the A10. The trendy gym David Lloyd (including swimming pool and spa facilities) is right around the corner.
