About
Paulien Vanhorick-Schmitz
Paulien is a certified broker and appraiser and has been in the business since 1998. Trust, enthusiasm and a personal approach are, according to her, the strengths of Keizerskroon. "Also, we have a strong network, so that we are often the first to know about the range of properties in Amsterdam and the surrounding area."
Douwe Sijsma
In his work, Douwe would like to have the profession and the office he stands for distinguished in reliability, quality, and expertise. Certainly in Amsterdam, it is a pleasure for real estate agents and clients to go and view houses; due to the age of the city and diversity in construction. A journey through time with many different atmospheres and always a wide range of opportunities.
Eduard Vaandrager
Eduard truly feels at home at Keizerskroon. "Keizerkroon Makelaars is sort of a family business: we are like brothers and sisters to each other, very close, but we all have our own network." For over 20 years now, Eduard has been working with great pleasure in the real estate industry. “The real estate industry is very challenging and interesting in all its facets. We have to balance the human element (e.g. emotion) and the business element (e.g. financials), which always poses a great challenge. I am looking forward to the next 20 years of buying and selling all those beautiful buildings and apartments in Amsterdam.”
Stephan Roes
In the real estate business, Stephan combines his advisory and service-oriented qualities with a clear transactional drive. He learned to keep a cool head when things get tense in international financial services, as well as tenacious negotiation.
“Every house and every client is unique, which brings great versatility and requires continuous attention. It gives me a kick to translate the trust placed in me into a successful transaction. The collegial atmosphere and great expertise at Keizerskroon brokers contribute to this on a daily basis.”.
Although the Amsterdam houses are most beautiful from a boat in the canal, he prefers the bicycle for business use!
Emily Buschman
Emily came to work at Keizerskroon in 2018 to set up the rental department.
It felt like coming home: working with people, the cosiness of the close-knit team and cycling through beautiful Amsterdam every day on the way to the homes.
Every day she enjoys working for and with the landlords and tenants!
Noël Grannetia
Noël previously worked in the creative sector as a graphic designer and photographer, but her true passion has always been real estate and property management. In 2020, she made the switch to the Amsterdam housing market, where she has since found her perfect fit.
She is the brain of the office, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently. Her colleagues rightly call her the brain of the office. With enthusiasm, attention to detail, and a client-focused approach, she keeps an overview and always thinks one step ahead.
Charlotte Pluim
Charlotte is a real estate agent at Keizerskroon, guiding clients in Amsterdam through both buying and selling, helping them take the next step — whether that’s a first purchase, a new home, or the sale of an existing property.
She lives along the Amsterdam canals herself, just a stone’s throw from the office, and moves through the neighborhoods where she supports her clients every day. This means she not only knows the market, but also understands the character and rhythm of the city.
Thanks to her background in concept development, project management, and international relocation, Charlotte brings clarity to a buying process that can often feel overwhelming. Her transition into real estate stemmed from a desire to work more closely with people and to contribute to something fundamental: housing.
Her strength lies in connection. She is quick to respond, thinks creatively, and is approachable and genuinely involved — someone who stands beside you, not opposite you.
For Charlotte, Amsterdam is the ideal city: large enough to keep surprising you, yet small enough to explore entirely by bike. A city full of character, opportunity, and contrast. Just like her approach — energetic, warm, and focused on connection.
Marlous van den Heuvel
Amsterdam is, without a doubt, the most beautiful city in the Netherlands to me. For over 10 years, I’ve been happily living in the Jordaan – a neighborhood I know inside and out. I bring that local knowledge and love for the city into my work every day as a real estate agent, now for 5 years at Keizerskoon Makelaars.
With a background in sales and as a geography teacher, I understand how important it is to communicate clearly, honestly, and with a focus on results. I’m decisive, enthusiastic, and always genuine – qualities that help me achieve the best possible outcome for my clients.
Whether you’re looking to sell your home or find a new place to live in Amsterdam, I’ll guide you through the entire process, from our first meeting to handing over the keys – with care, dedication, and plenty of energy.
