On the corner of the Herengracht with the Brouwersgracht, a stone's throw from the Herenmarkt, a lovely square and playground with old chestnut trees. In the immediate vicinity, there are various coffee and lunchrooms, specialty shops such as butchers and greengrocers, Haarlemmerstraat shopping street around the corner, restaurants, bars etc. On Saturday the famous Noordermarkt is a short walk away as well as Dam square. The property is next to the excellent public primary school De Burght, the only elementary school in Amsterdam located on the canal belt.

Public transport is excellent, with a 7-minute walk from Central Station, from which all trains, subways and trams leave. Also a fast and easy connection with the car via the S100 behind the station.
