The property is 21m long and is playfully divided. From the apartment you hear the birds whistle and bells of the famous Westerkerk play their carillon.
The monumental canal house has a double staircase, large front door and a beautiful marble monumental hallway with high and beautiful ornament ceilings, marble ornamental fountain, waiting room with original handmade wooden benches and stately wooden stairs. Original monumental wooden staircase with beautiful wood carving leads to the large front door of the apartment. In the communal hallway there is also a meter cabinet. Next to the main entrance there is a communal bicycle storage.
Spacious hallway, vestibule, separate toilet, storage room with wardrobes, washer and dryer. Access from the hallway to the first bedroom with bathtub and storage space.
Double doors give access to the living room with open kitchen with plenty of daylight through the huge glass roof (HR ++ glazing) and high ceilings. The space offers a gas fireplace, underfloor heating, air conditioning, a cozy raised seating area and numerous storage facilities.
The original open space is divided into a front and rear space separated by a central element, separated by a large sliding wall, leaving the glorious view through.
Modern luxurious white kitchen with white composite counter top and concrete cire bar, American fridge freezer combination, double oven, 6 burner gas stove and dishwasher.
In the middle of the apartment a large closet wall is created with stylish handles of birch stems opening on both sides: from the living area on the one hand, on the other side from the bathroom.
The spacious bedroom at the rear offers access to the balcony located on the West through open doors. From the bedroom there is an indoor storage room. There is also an additional bedroom on the backside (now in use as a walk in closet).
The bathroom has a walk-in shower with rain and massage function, skylight, toilet, a built-in cabinet and an antique ceramic babybath as a sink.

This air-conditioned room with integrated desk offers a nice and playful view over the living room. The stained glass windows can be opened creating a 'small house in the house'.
The staircase leads to the sunny roof terrace (approx. 30m2) and offers beautiful views over the stately canal gardens between the Herengracht and Keizersgracht. A water tap is present.
